The Toastmasters ‘Speaker to Trainer’ workshop is an excellent launchpad for accomplished speakers to take their skills to the next level and become effective trainers. The program is usually a 5 hour program but can be extended into a full day workshop.
I had the privilege of organizing the workshop for our district. With 2 top-notch trainers from Kuwait and Bahrain, the program was a success with both trainers keeping the participants engaged for the entire day. The program is normally conducted as an in-person workshop, but due to the covid-19 pandemic, we had to deliver the entire workshop online. I decided to split the workshop into 2 parts – morning and afternoon session. Both the sessions were streamed to YouTube to be used as a resource for others who may want to replicate this program for their own districts.
